Vatalanib is predicted to reach the market in early 2008 for the second-line treatment of patients with metastatic colorectal cancer who have failed standard chemotherapy treatment. Further studies are under way in non-small cell lung cancer, glioblastoma and renal cell cancer, which may eventually increase the available markets.
